Abbey Brass

Abbey Brass is the newest brass band on the Isle of Wight. Formed in 2021, the band gives a regular series of concerts across the island. To keep up to date with our activities then head over to our News section to find out more.

Oh! Listen to the Band

The next two concerts on Abbey Brass' engagements list are at Rylestone Gardens, Shanklin. The concerts are free although chairs cost £1 to hire (free if you bring your own!). Read on for dates at times.

A home win!

Abbey Brass recently performed on their home turf to a capacity audience. Binstead Methodist Church, also the band's rehearsal venue, enjoyed a concert of varied music.

Composer in Residence

Abbey Brass has appointed Cardiff University student, and former Ryde School pupil, Mary Lillington as its first composer in residence. The two-year post offers Mary the opportunity to develop her artistic skills.
