Abbey Brass

Abbey Brass is the newest brass band on the Isle of Wight. Formed in 2021, the band gives a regular series of concerts across the island. To keep up to date with our activities then head over to our News section to find out more.

Christmas at Quarr Abbey

Abbey Brass will be performing at Quarr Abbey on Sunday 7th December at 3.00pm. The programme will contain entirely Christmas music in a style befitting the Abbey.  FREE ENTRY.  

Abbey to play Quay Arts

Abbey Brass will be giving Christmas concert at Quay Arts on Friday 12th December. The event starts at 7.30pm, but the Cafe/Bar will be open for dining from 6pm-9pm. 

Abbey serenades Wootton Bridge

Meet The Band

Abbey Brass players travel across the island to rehearse at the band's base in Binstead, Ryde on Wednesday evenings. 

The band is made up of people from all walks of life including those in the medical profession, care workers, teachers, administrators, structural engineers, transport operatives and one or two retirees.
